چکیده مقاله:

Diabetes Type ۲ was the most common type of diabetes, a common disorder of glucose homeostasis. Andaccounts for ۹۰% of cases. The prevalence of diabetes type ۲ is increasing. Adenosine deaminase (ADA)is an enzymatic polymorphism that plays an important role in modulating the biological activity of insulin. It seems that excessive activity of adenosine A۱ receptor has caused adiposity in diabetes type ۲ . In thisstudy, we examined the correlation of adenosine deaminase enzyme with diabetes type ۲.Materials and Methods: This study was performed on ۸۰ men and women between ۴۰ and ۸۰ years old inDistrict ۲ of Tehran with diabetes. Venous blood samples were collected after ۱۲ hours of fasting. Afterblood sampling, blood was poured into a tube and injector, incubated for ۱۵ minutes at ۱۵-۲۵ ° C and thencentrifuged at ۲۵۰۰ rpm for ۱۵ minutes. Was kept at -۲۰ ° C. Then fasting blood glucose (FBS) wasmeasured enzymatically by Biosystems kit with COBAS MIRA autoanalyzer. Triglyceride, totalcholesterol, was measured by enzymatic method and using COBAS MIRA device with Pars test kit HbA۱c.The amount was measured enzymatically with AXIS SHIELD kit by COBAS MIRA autoanalyzer. Insulinwas measured by ELISA method (MONOBIND kit) and serum ADA enzyme activity was measured byphotometry by Biosystems kit. All the results of this study were done by SPSS software. Results: A significant increase in serum ADA levels was observed in diabetic patients compared with thecontrol group. A positive correlation was observed between ADA activity and FBS and HbA۱c. The amountof HOMA-ir in diabetics was higher than the control group, but no positive correlation was observedbetween serum levels of ADA and HOMA-ir.Discussion and Conclusion: The enzyme adenosine deaminase can act as an immunological marker andthe results of this study show that diabetes is associated with increased T cell activity marker. Serum ADAlevel has a positive correlation with glycemic control status in patients.
