p۵۳ Mutation in Breast Cancer

The TP۵۳ gene, which encodes p۵۳, isone of the most frequently mutatedgenes in human cancers. It is reportedthat approximately half of all cancershave inactivated p۵۳. The tumorsuppressor p۵۳ exerts its biologicalfunction by regulating transcription ofnumerous downstream target genesinvolved in cell cycle arrest, apoptosis,DNA repair, senescence, andmetabolism as a transcription factor. p۵۳mutations occur in almost every type oftumor and in over ۵۰% of all tumors.In the current study, keywordsincluding p۵۳, Breast Cancer andMutation were reviewed from thelist of Mesh and other crediblewebsites including PubMed,Science Direct and Google Scholarand the data was organized.
