چکیده مقاله:

Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is a malignant disorder originatingfrom hematopoietic B-cell or T-cell precursors, characterized by markedheterogeneity at the molecular and clinical levels. the integration of genomeediting systems enables investigators to directly manipulate virtually anygene in a diverse range of cell types and organisms. The aim of this studywas to evaluate the function and importance of the Crisper technique in thetreatment of leukemia. This is a review that was conducted by searching PubMed, Google Scholar, and Google with the subject of the function and importance of the Crispertechnique in the treatment of leukemia. The result showed Genome editingsystem is based on the use of engineered nucleases composed of sequencespecificDNA-binding domains fused to a non-specific DNA cleavagemodule These chimeric nucleases induce DNA double-strand breaks (DSBs)that stimulate the cellular DNA mechanisms, including error-prone nonhomologousend joining (NHEJ) and homologous recombination (HR)Several approaches have been used in the last years as genome editingtechnologies. the recent availability of genome-editing tools such asCRISPR-Cas۹ is an important means of advancing functional studies of ALLthrough the incorporation, elimination, and modification of somaticmutations and fusion genes in cell lines and mouse models. These tools notonly broaden the understanding of the involvement of various geneticalterations in the pathogenesis of the disease but also identify newtherapeutic targets for future clinical trials.
