چکیده مقاله:

Despite increasing progress, the prevalence of cancer and mortality areincreasing rapidly worldwide. Non-coding long RNAs (LncRNAs) play animportant role in tumor formation, angiogenesis, proliferation, migration, apoptosis, and differentiation. LincFOXF۱ regulation has reduced gastriccancer and osteosarcoma which is associated with poor prognosis, tumormigration, attack, and metastasis. In this review article, PubMed, Sciencedirect, and Scopus databases were searched. The role of lincFOXF۱ target genes, including BMP۴, FDFT۱, IFI۶, LY۶E,MVD, SLC۴۳A۲, and SPRY۴, in cancer progression and metastasis in suchcancers such as gastrointestinal tract, colon, stomach, osteosarcoma, breast, and pancreas has been confirmed. On the other hand, a significant reductionin lincFOXF۱ expression contributes to cancer calls progression sincelincFOXF۱ binds to EZH۲ and forms a suppressive complex (PRC۲) thatsuppresses the migration and invasion of cancer cells. EZH۲ could increaseSTAT۳ activity via increasing STAT۳ phosphorylation, and also bind to NF-κB components, and enhancing tumor proliferation. EZH۲ also acts as anactivator of other important transcription factors such as TCF / β-catenin,and ERα. Also, decreased expression of lincFOXF۱ is associated withincreased epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), a complexdevelopmental program that enables carcinoma cells to suppress theirepithelial features changing to mesenchymal ones in these diseases.According to the reasons mentioned above, lincFOXF۱ has been recognizedas a potential biomarker and therapeutic target in cancers.
