چکیده مقاله:
Lung cancer is responsible for ۳۰% of cancer fatalities in the United Stateseach year. Non–small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) accounts for ۸۰% of lungcancer instances, while small cell lung cancer accounts for ۲۰%. (SCLC).Lung cancer has one of the lowest ۵-year survival rates of all malignancies, around ۱۰–۱۵ percent regardless of subtype. The goal of this research was tosee how important genomes and proteomics are in lung cancer. The currentstudy is based on scholarly studies on the relationship between genomics andproteomics in lung cancer that were analyzed by searching and summarizingthe findings in scientific databases like Science Direct, Springer, GoogleScholar, and PubMed.In addition to their utility in finding patterns, genomic and proteomictechnologies offer a lot of data that can be mined for specific mechanisticinsights. Many studies have identified and verified certain genes whoseexpression varies between tumor and normal tissue, or throughout cancer'shistologic course. Finally, genomics and proteomics were designed to enablethe quick, comprehensive, and parallel investigation of genes and proteinsexpressed in a specific cell or tissue type. Furthermore, gene and proteinexpression profiles have the potential to improve lung cancer clinical care byenhancing categorization, either by class prediction or discovery or by givingdata for the development of a diagnostic classifier.
