چکیده مقاله:

Large scale integration of distributed generation (DG), particularly based on variablerenewable energy sources (RES), in low voltage (LV) distribution networks brings significantchallenges to operation. This paper has investigated improving voltage stability in order toimprove the microgrid performance. To evaluate and improve voltage stability, voltage stabilityindex in systems consisting of different types of distributed grid (DGs) has been used. A newmethod has been provided for double optimization to find the optimal performance in islandedmicrogrid and to improve the voltage stability index. A double algorithm known as HS-GA hasbeen designed to solve the optimization problem. The performance of the proposed methodhas been better in comparison to the case when the DG unit parameters have been determinedwithout implementing the optimization process. Generally, the results suggest that optimizingdroop characteristic parameters would improve the microgrid function.
