چکیده مقاله:
Background and Objective: Introduction: Over the last century, the rapid growth of technological advances in industrial societies has led to climate change, and climate changedue to greenhouse gas emissions is one of the scientific and political challenges of today. The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors affecting greenhouse gases and the trend of CO۲ emissions in developed countries.Materials and Methods: In this review study, PubMed, Google scholar, Science direct and Scopus databases were searched for related articles using the keywords CO۲ emission, greenhouse gases, global warning, developed countries. Results: The results of the study show that the intensity of CO۲ emissions increases with increasing fossil fuels and population growth, economic growth and electricity consumption growth are also factors affecting CO۲ emissions. According to studies, CO۲ emissions in developed countries such as the United States, Germany, Canada and Japan are still at the top of the world rankings. Conclusion: Greenhouse gas emissions enter the environment from a variety of sources. CO۲ emissions from fossil fuel combustion account for the largest percentage (۷۶%) of total greenhouse gas emissions. In Summary, the trend of CO۲ emissions in industrialized and developed countries has increased significantly.
