چکیده مقاله:

Background and objective: The outbreak of the Corona pandemic (COVID-۱۹) in the last two years has shifted traditional classroom education to online learning platforms, which may affect the quality of education. Many online learning platforms such as Zoom, Skype, Skyroom, etc. are used by universities and schools. Although there is direct relationship between educational satisfaction and learning environment, known as the effective factor in the learning quality and student performance, there hasn't been any researches conducted on this field in Iran. The aim of this was to evaluate the satisfaction of Iranian students with online education platforms during the Corona pandemic.Method: ۲۸۰ students from different fields and universities with different levels of education participated voluntarily in this study. A two-part questionnaire was used on the Internet to collect data. Data were gathered using a two-section questionnaire. In the first section, participants were asked about demographic information, the platform used for online education, and the type of device (personal computer, laptop, mobile phone, and tablet) they used to attend online sessions. The second section was the Questionnaire of User Interaction Satisfaction-QUIS from which the satisfaction of students regarding each platform was assessed. This questionnaire had a ۱۰-pointLikert scale and consisted of five sections. Different sections of the questionnaire included the overall reaction to the application, screen design and layout, terminology and systems information, learning, and the overall capabilities of the application. The reliability of the questionnaire has been confirmed in other studies. One-way ANOVA and two-way ANOVA were employed to analyze data. All statistical tests were performed using SPSS software version ۲۵.Results: Mean age and standard deviation of participants were ۲۳.۲ years old and ۴.۶, respectively. Most participants used Adobe connect (۵۲.۸۵%), followed by sky room (۳۵.۷۱%), Skype (۶.۰۷%), and Google meet (۵.۳۵%). The overall satisfaction score for Adobe connect, Skyroom, Skype, and Google Meet were ۴.۷۰ (±۱.۹۱), ۶.۱۶ (±۱.۸۰), ۶.۲۰ (±۱.۸۲), and ۶.۹۳ (±۱.۴۵). Also, the satisfaction score of different parts of the questionnaire was separately analyzed. The results of one-way ANOVA demonstrated that various platforms were different in terms of user satisfaction. Two-way ANOVA was used to assess the interaction effect of educationplatforms and device type on satisfaction. The results indicated that the type of device had no significant effect on user satisfaction. Conclusion: Adobe Connect and Skyroom are used by Iranian universities more than the other online platforms. Although Adobe Connect was the most used among other online education platforms, it obtained the least satisfaction. It is recommended that university administrators be more careful in choosing the type of educational software and using the research results.
