Analyzing the relationship between Factors hindering the sports participation of Payame Noor University staff and philosophical mentality

The importance and status of physical activity and sport is clear to everyone, and given the importance of sport and physical activity, planning for it has become one of the main concerns of governments. Having the right thinking about sports as an integral part of life and acceptance and belief in it by employees of organizations, required a rational mindset. Having logical and correct thinking depends on having a philosophical mentality.The purpose of this study wasto Analyzing the relationship between Factors hindering the sports participation of Payame Noor University staff and philosophical mentality.This research was applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-correlational. The statistical population consisted of all employees of Payame Noor Ramhormoz University(۸۹ people). All of them were selected as a sample as a whole. To collect used data from two questionnaires of barriers to sports participation with components: organizational-managerial, environmental, psychological, social, intrapersonal and time constraints and Philosophical Mindset Questionnaire (PMQ) with components: reflection, comprehensiveness and flexibility. Validity was confirmed by experts and their reliability was confirmed by Cronbach s alpha (۰.۷۹). Friedman correlation coefficient and ranking were used to analyze the data.The results showed that there is a significant inverse relationship between philosophical mentality and environmental factors, social support, time constraints and organizational and managerial factors -۰.۵۱, -۰.۴۳, ۰.۷۲ and ۰.۳۹, respectively. There is a significant direct relationship between philosophical, psychological and intrapersonal mentality of ۰.۳۲ and ۰.۴۶. Also, the first priority of employees was environmental factor and the last priority was psychological factor.Having the right thinking about sports as an integral part of life and its acceptance and belief by employees of organizations, required a rational mindset. Having logical and correct thinking depends on having a philosophical mentality. This factor will enable the employees to be safe from one-sidedness and intellectual rigidity in dealing with the issues and problems of the organization.
