چکیده مقاله:
Anthropometric and biomechanical departments are effective in improving the quality level of sports skills. Many studies have found that elite athletes in each sport have special anthropometric and biomechanical characteristics. Shooting is a sport that has a long history in the Olympics. shooting demands a high level of precision, constancy and stability from the shooter. In the review study by Peljha, reporting the components of composition, breathing pattern, muscle strength, eye opening time, and Vo۲max for the preparation of shooting athletes is important. The purpose of this comparison was the main anthropometric and biomechanical indicators of elite fixed and clay target shooters. The statistical population of this study includes ۳۰ shooters, consisting of ۱۲ fixed target shooters (rifle and pistol) and ۱۲ clay target shooters (trap and skeet), members of the Iranian men s national shooting team, who were selected as a statistical sample. ۲۸ anthropometric indices and ۸ biomechanical indices were evaluated at the Shooting Federation Academy. For statistical analysis, descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation), Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, independent t-test, multiple correlation coefficient were used to reduce overlapping variables and principal information components analysis (PCA) was used. The results showed that the main indicators related to anthropometric features in shooters were fixed targets: forearm length, arm circumference, standing height, knee width and knee circumference. In clay target: waist circumference, arm length and arm length. The main indicators related to biomechanical characteristics for shooters are fixed targets: static balance, leg strength, strength and endurance of abdominal muscles. The main indicators of biomechanical characteristics for clay target shooters were agility and speed, reaction time of the fingers. These results were consistent with the results of the research of Peljha (۲۰۲۱) and Lopez (۲۰۱۹). Access to the anthropometric and biomechanical profiles of elite fixed and clay target shooters and compare them helps coaches identify talented athletes and avoid wasting time and money on reaching the peak of athletic performance with proper and regular planning. Also, the results of these evaluations can be a basis for informing and helping to increase knowledge in the field of talent identification in this sport.
