The mediating role of self-perceptual ability in relation to causal motor skills with physical activity and fitness of ۱۰- to ۱۵-year-old trainers in Tehran

چکیده مقاله:

The aim of this study was to investigate the mediating role of self-perceptual ability in the causal relationship between motor skills and physical activity and fitness of athlete and non-athlete trainers of boys and girls aged ۱۰ to ۱۵ years in District ۵ of Tehran. The present study is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive correlation.For this purpose, ۱۰۸ athletes (۳ days of exercise activity per week) and non-athlete were selected in terms of Morgan volume determination table.The sampling method was done non-randomly. To evaluate the variables of the research, Marshall (PSDQ) questionnaire and physical activity questionnaire and perceptual skills growth were used. Structural equation modeling was used to analyze the data by partial least squares method with the help of SPSS statistical software at a significance level of α≤ ۰.۰۵.The mean and standard deviation of age of subjects is ۱۳/۳۱± ۱/۸۷, the mean and standard deviation of height of subjects is ۱۵۹/۸۵± ۱۳/۲۶ and the mean and standard deviation of weight of subjects is ۵۲/۲۵±۱۴/۵۹.The results of this study also showed that the effect of motor skills variable on self-perceptual ability (T value = ۱۱/۶۴۰ and ß = ۰/۶۹۰) was positive and significant, the effect of self-perceptual ability variable on fitness (T Value ۲۸/۶۲۸ and ß = ۰/۸۷۸) positive and significant and the effect of the self-perceptual ability variable on physical activity (T Value = ۱۲.۶۹۶ and ß = ۰/۶۴۳) is positive and significant. The coefficients of determining ۰/۴۷۶ and ۰/۷۷۱ and ۰/۴۱۴ indicates the fitting of the structural model at moderate. The results showed that the intermediate variable of self-perceptual ability in the relationship of motor skills with fitness (T value = ۹/۱۸۵ and ß =۰/۶۰۶ ) had a significant effect as well as the mediator variable of self-perceptual ability in the relationship of motor skills with physical activity (Value = ۷/۷۷۱ and ß = ۰/۴۴۴) have a significant effect. According to the results, it seems that by increasing the self-perceptual ability of educators, effective steps can be taken to strengthen and develop the motor skills and physical activity of educators.
