چکیده مقاله:

People with knee pain for soft rehabilitation are looking for innovative options for managing knee pain. The use of mechanical rehabilitation equipment instead of electrical equipment in physiotherapy can facilitate the process of performing complex and repetitive exercises and improve the quality of rehabilitation programsThe objective of the study was to design and construction of a knee rehabilitation device for knee pain rehabilitationThis device was designed in accordance with the advantages and disadvantages of existing devices to strengthen the knee. At first, the initial plan was designed in Catia software. The main body of the device was made of a chassis with aluminum cans with dimensions of ۳۰ × ۵۰ cm. An insole was placed in the middle of the device. Three hooks were placed on the front and back of the insole. Tensile springs with different stiffness coefficients are placed between the insole and the main body of the device. The knee rehabilitation device is a new device in the field of knee rehabilitation. This device allows flexion and extension movements of the knee to be performed forcefully. In this study, using springs with five different stiffness coefficients, the amount of force in flexion and extension movements can be increased up to about ۵۰N (۵ kg). By making springs with higher stiffness coefficients, the amount of force can be increased according to the individual s ability. Weak resistive forces are used in the design of mechanical devices because they facilitate joint range of motion and improve strength to a small exten.Special features of this device include adjusting the range of motion of the knee between ۲۰ degrees of extension to ۱۲۰ degrees of flexion. The isotonic contraction force is increased by changing the number and stiffness of springs. Maximum Voluntary isometric contraction is produced at the end of the movement. Therefore, it is recommended to evaluate the function of this device in patients with knee pain.
