چکیده مقاله:

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of e-sports and non-e-sports on the quality of life and indicators related to physical fitness skills. The statistical population of this study consisted of ۹۰۰ female students of the ۱۲th grade of secondary school in the ۲nd district of Shahrery which ۶۰ of them were selected by random sampling and divided into ۴ groups according to the amount of sport activity and e-sports. Each group includes ۱۵ people. The research method was descriptive and quasi-experimental which was conducted in the field. The standard quality of life questionnaire (SF-۳۶) was used to assess the quality of life of the subjects and to evaluate the effect of it. The face and content validity of the questionnaire was obtained by physical education professors and its reliability was determined ۰.۸۳ using Cronbach s alpha test. In order to analyze the data, descriptive indicators and covariance statistical test were used in SPSS software. The results showed that the mean and standard deviation of post-test of quality of life variable in control groups were ۲.۹۰ ± ۰.۳۷, exercise ۲.۸۳± ۰.۳۱, electronic games ۳.۰۳ ± ۰.۲۰ and exercise and electronic games ۰.۲۵ ± ۲/۸۸. On the other hand, there was no significant difference between the pre-test and post-test of the quality of life variable (P> ۰.۰۵, F = ۱.۰۲). Paired comparisons showed that the mean difference between the control group and the electronic games group (۶.۶۱), the sports group and the electronic games group with a mean difference of (۲۱.۰۶) and the electronic games group with the combined group of sports and electronic games with a mean difference of (۱۴.۸۵) was significant. It is also observed that there is no significant difference between the mental health of students in different groups after the mental health post-test (Sig = ۰.۵۸۸, F = ۰.۶۴۷). Regarding the variables of physical fitness, the results showed that there is a significant difference between pre-test and post-test variables of agility, throwing the ball, reaction, shoulder raising and pull-up.
