چکیده مقاله:
The aim of the present study was to determine the effect of perceived stress and loneliness on death anxiety with the mediating role of psychological hardiness in athletes with COVID ۱۹. This research was a quantitative causal research with the approach of path analysis. The research is a descriptive survey based on strategy and applied in terms of purpose. The data format is numbers and research tools is standard questionnaires. The statistical population of the study consisted of all professional athletes with COVID ۱۹ who have gone through the disease process and improved. Since there are ۵ variables in this study, the sample size was estimated to be a maximum of ۲۰۰ people. Data analysis of this research at both descriptive and inferential levels was done by using path analysis method and SPSS software version ۲۵ Amos version ۲۴. Findings showed that perceived stress on death anxiety (Sig = ۰.۰۰۱, t = ۴.۰۰۳, β = ۰.۲۴۸), loneliness on death anxiety in athletes (Sig = ۰.۰۱۱, t = ۲.۵۳۷), Β = ۰.۱۷۸), psychological hardiness on death anxiety (Sig = ۰.۰۰۴, t = ۲.۹۰۸, β = -۰.۲۰۵), perceived stress on psychological hardiness (Sig = ۰.۰۰۴, ۲.۹۰۸ - = t, β = -۰.۲۰۵), the feeling of loneliness on the psychological hardiness of athletes with COVID ۱۹ (Sig = ۰.۰۰۱, t = -۷۹۹۷, β = -۰.۴۷۸) has a significant effect. The results also showed that perceived stress through the mediating variable of psychological hardiness has a significant positive effect on death anxiety in patients with COVID ۱۹. Feeling loneliness also has a significant positive role on the death anxiety of athletes with COVID ۱۹ through the mediating variable of psychological hardiness. psychological hardiness can help people with COVID ۱۹ cope with loneliness and death anxiety, and such a trait can play a mediating role in the causal relationship between these two variables in athletes. Also, psychological hardiness, by meditating the relationship between perceived stress and death anxiety in athletes with COVID ۱۹, can moderate the relationship between these two variables and reduce their rate in patients.
