چکیده مقاله:
Perceptual motor development is important for the optimal performance of motor skills. Also, socioeconomic status may affect perceptual motor development. This study was conducted to investigate the relationship between socio-economic status of perceptual-motor development of ۱۱-۱۲-year-old students. The research sample consisted of ۱۴۹ fifth and sixth grade students who were randomly selected. The instrument was a researcher-made questionnaire on socio-economic status( The validity and reliability of this questionnaire has been investigated by Khojasteh ۱۳۹۲ at the University of Isfahan) and a Bruininks-Oseretsky skill test. Data Descriptive statistics were used to describe the studied variable. Inferential statistics, regression analysis and Spearmen correlation coefficient were used to investigate the relationship between socio-economic variables with perceptual-motor development. Multivariate linear regression was used through coefficient B. Investigating the economic and social effects on students perceptual-motor development. Significance level of all stages of data analysis was considered ۰.۰۵. Data analysis was performed using SPSS ۱۶ software. The results showed that there was a relationship between students socio-economic status and fine) r=۰.۴۲۶ ، p<۰.۰۰۱) and gross(r=۰.۴۲۶ ، p<۰.۰۰۱) motor development, there is significance. But there is no significant relationship between students social status. - Economic status and coordination of the upper extremities(r=۰.۰۰۲ ، p=۰. ۲۰۳ ).Given the importance of developing motor skills in students and the relationship between the development of these skills and socio-economic conditions, educators and teachers should provide the ground for the development of these skills in students with low socio-economic conditions and be sensitive to it.
