Determining the level of sports justice and its dimensions in athletes of national teams

Sports justice is a very important and influential variable in the performance and development of national team athletes. Due to the importance of sports justice, the purpose of this study is to determine the level of sports justice and its dimensions in national team athletes.The research was applied in terms of purpose. The method of the present study is descriptive which has been done in the field among athletes of different national teams by a standard questionnaire. The statistical population of the study includes all athletes who are members of national teams in the years ۱۳۹۰ to ۱۳۹۸ and indefinitely. A statistical sample of ۳۸۴ people was selected through Morgan table. The instrument of this research is the standard questionnaire of sports justice of Ahmadi et al. (۲۰۱۲). The face and content validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by ۱۲ professors of sports management and also the reliability of the questionnaire was ۰.۹۴ by Cronbach s alpha test. Descriptive and inferential statistical tests including Kolmogorov-Smirnov test were used to check the normality of data distribution and independent t-test to determine the level of sports justice and its dimensions in athletes of national teams in SPSS software.The results of independent t-test showed that the level of significance which is less than ۰.۰۵, also the means of sports justice and procedural justice are less than the average of ۳, it is concluded that sports justice and procedural justice are in a good position No, as a result, the first hypothesis is accepted. Other components of sports justice that have an average higher than ۳ are in good condition.According to the results of the study which showed that the component of sports justice is not in a favorable situation among athletes of national teams. Therefore, the sports federations and the coaching staff of the national teams should try to create solutions and programs to eliminate the unfavorable situation of sports justice among the athletes of the national teams.
