چکیده مقاله:
The concern for energy savings is increasing in theworld. Buildings have great potential for energy savings, and in thisscene, the European Union (EU) is trying to regulate the rules of itsmember states. In ۲۰۱۰, a new directive was published, which willhelp reduce EU buildings energy consumption in the long run. Arequirement that all new buildings must be net zero energyconsumers by ۲۰۲۰ has received the most attention. Based on theenergy balance sheet, annually more than ۴۰% of energyconsumption is directly used to serve the needs of building sector inIran. Most of the studies in this area show that more than half ofthis energy goes to waste for different reasons. The main aim of thispaper is to offer techniques to approach Net Zero Energy Buildings(NZEBs) in Iran. Thus, through energy auditing of the officebuilding of Electric Power Distribution Management in Malekancity, this facility was considered for its energy consumption anddifferent Demand Side Management (DSM) techniques for energyconsumption optimization were evaluated technically andeconomically and the best of them were proposed. Also thepossibility of using renewable energies to serve energy needs of thisbuilding has studied.
