A Novel Power Tariff Model for the Future SmartHomes in Iran

Considering the importance of energy pricing as anessential tool to develop efficient demand side managementstrategies, we propose a novel pricing model for the future smarthomes. This model classed all the appliances we used into sixgroups and set different pricing to each group, in order to guideconsumers saving energy as much as possible. Comparing withother tariff models, it has three advantages: compatibility,comprehensive guideline and durative. Finally, an experiment ina real residential house in Eastern Azarbaijan province of Iran isshown as the case study.
