Investigation of shear wall layout in Moment Frame structures in terms of architecture and structure

arrangement of shear walls. The choice of type and layout of shear wall should be such that it is approved both in terms of architecture and civil engineering. In this article, three layouts are examined using analytical software. Most typical buildings use concrete shear walls. The main task of the shear wall in a building is to absorb seismic energy, the arrangement of which is very important. Although the shear wall has the task of dealing with earthquakes, but the poor layout of the shear wall can cause the destruction of the structure during an earthquake.
