Factors Affecting on the Adaptation of Smart-phone Apps by Farmers

As the use of smartphone technology is becoming increasingly popular, there is a high potential that a wide variety of the needs of the farmers could be addressed by the means of this tiny devices that are already everywhere. In this review paper, the opportunities that are introduced by smartphones for farmers have been presented. Moreover, the factors which have an impact on the farmer’s engagement with smartphones and agricultural applications have been studied. Finally, the factors are categorized according to their nature whether it is a positive or negative effect.
