چکیده مقاله:
"Contaminant" refers to any undesirable hazardous element, and it may come from either natural or manufactured sources. Emerging contaminants are pollutants that have never been or are not consistently prevalent in the environment. These developing contaminants reach the aquatic body via various activities or effluent discharge. As a result, their removal is compelled because they are harmful if found in humans, animals, or other living beings. The new results on removal of organic pollutants at trace concentrations from waters and wastewaters are presented, together with the assessment of the extent to which the general findings and rules of NF/RO are valid and confirmed in the recent studies. Some specific findings and conclusions from studies on the removal of emerging micropollutants are also highlighted. Microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, and reverse osmosis are some of the filtration technologies utilized to remove them. This review article
