چکیده مقاله:

Influences of process and geometrical parameters of Cyclic Extrusion Compression in Equal Channel AngularPressing (CECAP) process on the damage (d) was evaluated by Respond Surface Methodology (RSM) andFinite Element Analysis (FEA). Input variables of friction coefficient (𝜇), ram speed (V), longitude distanceof input extrusion to ECAP region (L) and input extrusion diameter (D) were selected to study damage onmodeled sample applying standard deviation (S.D.) formulation as a response. Initial condition to inspectvarious aspect of fabricated specimen on CECAP process is to produce sample without crack and damage, thus, the numerical calculation and prediction of the damage on the current process can enhance the actualperformance of the operation. RSM and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) were employed to mathematicallyextract the model for the respond and determine the important parameters, respectively. Due to the medicalpurposes of CP-Ti, it was selected as material to be inspected. Deform ۳-D and Design of Expert and Deform۳-D software’s were used to run the RSM experiment set and numerically perform the process, respectively. Finally, ANOVA results indicated parameters of A, C, D and interactions of AB, AC, BC, BD and CD aresignificant parameters influencing standard deviation (S.D), followed by parameters of B and interaction ofAD which aren’t considered as an effective factor in this analysis.
