چکیده مقاله:

The effects of using none pneumatic tires on the vibrational behavior of an eight -wheel amphibiousground vehicle are studied in this paper. The amphibious ground vehicles are famous for their versatilityin passing through rivers and rough roads in search and rescue missions. They need to provide theappropriate proportion of suspensions stiffness and damping coefficient based on optimum safety andride comfort. So Vehicle ۲- degree- of- freedom vertical dynamics equations were assumed. Thegoverning equations were derived from studying the effects of using none pneumatic tires on thevibrational behavior of tires, suspensions, and chassis. A comparative study was designed to verify thederived equations and compare the vehicle's vibrational behavior. In order to investigate the method,the ladder chassis of an eight-wheel amphibious ground vehicle named ARGO FRONTIER۷۰۰ SCOUT۸X۸ was modeled using FEM software (ABAQUS). The results of the comparative study demonstratethat chassis vibrational behaviors have improved more than ۱۰ Percent on passing through rough roadsif non-pneumatic tires are used instead of pneumatic tires.
