چکیده مقاله:
Distributed generation (DG) is expected to becomemore important in the future distribution systems. This paperproposes an analytical expression to calculate the optimal size ofDGs and an effective methodology to identify the correspondingoptimum locations for DGs. The aims are minimizing the totalpower losses in primary distribution system with utilization ofShuffled Frog Leaping Algorithm (SFLA). Better voltageregulation and improvement of voltage stability in radialdistribution systems are considered. A detailed performanceanalysis is carried out on ۳۳ and ۶۹ bus systems to demonstratethe effectiveness of the proposed methodology. The results of thepresented techniques illustrate the superiority and effectivenessof SFLA in comparison with the results obtained by another twofamous heuristic algorithms, i.e. Genetic Algorithm (GA),Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO).
