چکیده مقاله:

Pt loaded on a series of MCM-۴۸ silica and composites with HZSM-۵ zeolite, HY zeolite, and TiO۲has been prepared and studied for n-heptane isomerization. The results show that these catalysts havegood selectivity to isomers products. Also, these new composite catalysts prove the catalytic stability atthe reaction time. The most desirable results, and significantly higher n-heptane conversion andisomerization selectivity were achieved with Pt/MCM۴۸-HZSM۵ catalyst. the coke formation on thePt/HY catalyst is lower than the other catalysts, while Pt/TiO۲ has a higher coke content. The porosity,metal dispersion, acidity, and nature of the acid site have led to better performance of these catalysts.
