چکیده مقاله:
Distribution network reconfiguration is a main operational tool for optimum network operation. Power and energy loss minimization, reliability improvement, voltage profile improvement and suitable feeder current distribution are the main objectives in this way. But in all cases the power and energy loss optimization are the main goals in objective function and the other objects are considered as limitations. Because of the different type of loads and consequently different load curve patterns in distribution load points, the power loss and energy loss minimization have not the same solutions. In this paper one of the most famous methods in distribution network reconfiguration and for power loss minimization is extended for energy loss minimization. A new concept as “virtual branch current” is introduced by which the power loss minimization can be changed to energy loss minimization. The results of the test system simulation show the good performance of the proposed method
