چکیده مقاله:

Nowadays, the software defined network (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV) are an enabling technology which decouple the control plane from data plane in fifth generation wireless network. This conditions cause that we have a distributed architecture that several software defined network controllers can be existed in control layers. In the distributed control planning, an assignment which associates controller with switches, causes two important challenges; (۱) Energy and resource efficiency, which must be attended to minimizing the number of controllers for decreasing the energy and resource consumption, and (۲) Complexity of consumption, because assignment is hard problem. In this paper we design and simulate an assignment of distributed controllers for software defined network for application of fifth generation wireless network. This assignment contains three sections of algorithm of flow oriented, algorithm of controller oriented, and algorithm of switch oriented. By simulating this algorithm, we achieve that the number of active controllers of the network can be decreased by increasing the number of assignment to controllers for each switch. Finally, we see that the topology of the network impacts the performance of the algorithm which make this single assignment cannot be applied to all possible scenarios
