چکیده مقاله:

At the critical disease outbreak, the number of people suffering from psychological trauma is more than the number of people suffering from physical injuries caused by that disease. Stress is the most common and destructive force in human society that A large part of it is related to the profession and occupation of individuals. Every work, in turn, creates some degree of stress for employees, but the nursing profession is considered a part of jobs with high job stress because of the nature of its care. Improving the quality of the work-life of nurses plays an essential role in providing quality nursing care and improving their performance. The goal of this study is the relationship between nurses' job stress and their quality of work-life was investigated. Method: This descriptive-analytical study was performed on ۱۹۲ the staff of Shahid Rajaei Hospital in Karaj in ۲۰۲۰. To assess job stress from the Espio Job Stress Questionnaire and to evaluate the quality of life from the Professional Quality of Life Questionnaire, Which consists of three dimensions of fatigue from compassion, burnout, and secondary traumatic stress, used.SPSS۱۶ software used for data analysis and descriptive and inferential tests. Result: Women made up ۸۰% of the study participants.Moderate to severe job stress were reported. There was a significant positive relationship between job stress and secondary stress and burnout (p.value = ۰.۰۰), But no connection was found with compassion satisfaction. Discussion and conclusion: According to the findings of this study, it can be concluded that by reducing job stress, the quality of work-life of the staff can be increased. Therefore, effective programs to reduce job stress, such as employee participation in making decisions, strengthening their sense of responsibility, etc., can improve staff work-life quality.
