In this paper, we consider a beamforming technique for a multi-user non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) relay networks where the relay nodes have the capability of energy harvesting. In beamforming technique, the base station (BS) is equipped with multiple antennas for signal transmission whilethe relay nodes transmit the BS signal to the users. According to this, we propose the problem of maximizing the available rate of the users by setting the optimal power allocation coefficients of the relays and BS to each user with constraint on the outage probability of each user. The problem is formulated and it is solved based on the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm which is an iterative algorithm to obtain the optimal power allocation coefficient of the relays and BS. Simulation results verify our results for improving the network performance.
