Effective roles of the Nursing Field in the global crisis of Covid- ۱۹: A Systematic review and Meta-analysis

Background and Objective: With the spread of the Covid-۱۹ pandemic around the world, nurses’ role in providing health care and doing educational activities has been pivotal. The purpose of this article is to review Effective roles of the nursing Field in the global crisis of Covid- ۱۹.Search Method: The information of this systematic review and meta-analysis article is gathered by searching the key words: role of nurses, Covid ۱۹, corona, nursing, global health, pandemic in internet research engines such as: Mesh, Sigma pubs, Google, Wiley online library, Science direct, Karger, Springer and NCBI without the time limit. The collection of these articles is based on the York University Guide. In this guide, inclusion and exit criteria including review questions, article search strategies, research selection, data extraction, evaluation and analysis of the quality of studies and data, and publication and use of articles were used.Findings: ۶۰ articles were found and due to the Preliminary reviews, ۳۹ repeated articles were eliminated. Secondary screening by reviewing the topics, abstracts and the key words also eliminated ۱۲ more articles and eventually left us with ۹ relevant topics and articles, resulting in the facts that :Health care workers especially nurses working with the government trying to control the outbreak of corona virus provide patients with services including: clinical and quarantine services, public education, psychological reliance and professional protections. Conclusion: The searching results conclude that due to evolving covid-۱۹ pandemic, nurses who make up about ۵۰% of the health workforce provide a lot of effective and essential services . So, this article suggests that for beating covid-۱۹ participation of all is important especially nurses who have the mindset and professional training to fight with this out breaking virus effectively and guide the world to live a healthier life.
