Identifying obstacles and limitations of green space development in the cities of Guilan province

The purpose of this study is to identify barriers and limitations of green space development in cities of Guilan province. The present study is an applied research. The statistical population of this research is the officials and citizens living in the cities of Guilan province (Iran) who have the necessary knowledge about the subject of the research. The information was collected by field method and the research measurement tool was a researcher-made questionnaire whose validity was confirmed by the elites and experts in this field and its reliability was reported through Cronbach's alpha coefficient of ۰.۸۵. Descriptive and inferential statistics and Spss and Excel software were used to analyze the research data. The results show that the barriers and limitations of green space development in the cities of Guilan province in a general ranking were identified and introduced in the following order: managerial barriers, economic barriers, social barriers, and educational barriers. To remove the existing obstacles and limitations in the development of green space in the cities of Guilan province.
