Determining the installation location of concrete batching using VIKOR method

The purpose of this study was to determine a suitable location for installing concrete production batching in Mashhad Municipality Civil Organization according to the criteriaof distance from projects, traffic on the road, distance from raw material supply sites, development possibility, labor access, sufficient water supply, area and distance from the residential area. The three workshops of Al-Mahdi, Shahid Majidi and Alfred are the options that were measured according to the criteria. Using network analysis in GISsoftware, the best access route to the organization's projects and raw material supply locations was determined with the priority of crossing the highway, then the average daily traffic in each route was obtained. Criteria for the possibility of development, access to labor, as well as adequate water supply were determined using the expert opinion of the organization's experts according to the conditions of each option and the decision matrix was formed. The weight of the criteria was determined using a questionnaire by experts and managers of the organization. Finally, VIKOR decisionmaking method was implemented by coding in R software that Al-Mahdi complex with the lowest score was selected as a suitable place for batching concrete production.
