Investigating the role of positive organizational behavior on the occurrence of entrepreneurial behaviors of hotel staff in Doha, Qatar

In today's world where human resources are considered one of the most important assets of organizations, positive organizational behavior, considering the strengths and positives of this key and vital resource, tries to use and manage this resource more effectively. Positive organizational behavior seeks to empower human capital, which is a competitive advantage of organizations. On the other hand, today, organizations can not survive in today's dynamic environment and uncertainty in the competition scene, regardless of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial behaviors. In this study, while examining the concepts of positive organizational behavior, entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial behaviors, the effect of positive organizational behavior on the occurrence of employees' entrepreneurial behaviors is examined and measured. This research, which is descriptive-survey in terms of practical purpose and method of data collection, was conducted between February ۱۴۰۰ and May ۱۴۰۰ in hotels in Doha, Qatar. Simple random stratified sampling method was used for sampling and two standard questionnaires were used to collect data. Cronbach's alpha for the Positive Organizational Behavior Questionnaire is ۰.۸۲۲ and for the Entrepreneurial Behavior Questionnaire is ۰.۷۸۵, which indicates that the research questionnaires have high reliability. A total of ۱۲۸ questionnaires were collected by hotel staff in Doha, Qatar. After analyzing the data through SmartPLS software version ۲ and SPSS version ۱۹, the results indicate that the dimensions of positive organizational behavior (self-efficacy, resilience, optimism) except the dimension of hope have a positive effect on the entrepreneurial behaviors of employees and It has meaning. Also, in general, positive organizational behavior has a positive and significant effect on the occurrence of entrepreneurial behaviors of employees.
