چکیده مقاله:

Background: A healthy human being is the foundation of sustainable development in any country.Due to the importance of this issue, providing conditions, breeding healthy and dynamic generations causes all-round growth and development. Nowadays, one of the most important occupational health issues is musculoskeletal disorders, which are prevalent in almost all occupations. Among the most important causes of musculoskeletal disorders are unfavorable working conditions and repetitive movements. The importance and prevention of these disorders has been such that in some countries, they have been set as a national priority. Method: The present study was a summary review study designed in ۲۰۲۱. PubMed / Medline and Scopus databases were used to search for similar studies and extract content. Selected keywords used for the search included “Musculoskeletal disease”, “Employed women”. Summaries of articles published in congresses and conferences were excluded from the study. Finally, ۵ articles were evaluated. Results: Musculoskeletal disorders refer to a condition that affects the bones and muscles of the body and the tissues that support them. Most of these complications start and progress in the neck, back of the arms and legs. Symptoms, spread to the lower back and motor limbs, especially the arms and shoulders, and by causing severe pain, will progress to the point of disability. These disorders are called work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs). The highest prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders in women is related to the frequency of the waist, knees and neck, respectively. Musculoskeletal disorders have also affected the legs and ankles. Conclusion: The overall results showed that the prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders increases significantly by not observing the principles of ergonomics during work and daily working. However, factors such as: age, level of education, type and the difficulty of the work, height and weight and BMI of the person, amount of daily exercise, welfare and residence status, amount of work at home, equipment used, elevators and stairs, even age of marriage and the number of children plays a significant role in the occurrence of these disorders. Conclusion: Adherence to ergonomic principles and orthopedic care are the most important factors in preventing musculoskeletal disorders. Therefore, not performing long repetitive movements and daily activity and exercise can play an important role in preventing these disorders.
