Ranking of Contributing Factors to Project Management Concerning the Role of Knowledge and Big Data Management (Case Study: X Company in Public Sector)

This study mainly aims to identify and rank the contributing factors to the project management with respect to the knowledge and Big Data in X Company in Public Sector Water and Waste Water Co. Besides, in this thesis, identifying and ranking the influential factors in project management is performed using multi-criteria decision-making methods with respect to knowledge and data mining management. This study is an assessment in terms of the objective-based classification, and its method is based on the data collection, descriptive method, and research strategy (Cross-sectional type). The statistical population of the research is X Company in Public Sector Water and Waste Water Co., of which the supervisor, consultant, design manager, and contractor are selected. The sampling method is the Convenience Sampling method which is between ۵-۱۵ individuals, and the data collection method is the library and field research.The organizations' information was collected via the questionnaires in ۲۰۲۰. Among the respondent organizations to the research tool, several supervisors, consultants, design managers, and supervisor cases were selected. In order to implement the project, a number of standard questionnaires were used, e.g., Esmaeil Alalavi and OECD questionnaires, TAPSIS, and Delphi model techniques were used to rank and obtain the factors' weights for analysis. According to the results, the experts found the relevant structures to all items important. Nevertheless, with respect to the Friedman test, the indexes ranking was confirmed (with the significance level of lower than ۰.۰۵), indicating the existence of the same ranks among indexes in the final structure formation. Among the contributing factors to the project management in the current study, in X Company in Public Sector Water and Waste Water Co., the following points have the most to the least significance level, respectively: Resources integration, Managers’ tasks, management of infrastructure and employees, commercial parallelism, technology, and technical and processes support
