In analyzing the visual details of an animated film, it should be noted that visual elements can replace the film sound. When it comes to hard of hearing (HI) or deaf people, they expand their experiences through visual cognition.According to studies, the neural network, in the absence of auditory experiences, attempts to compensate for this shortcoming through enhanced visual cognition and visual intelligenceWatching an animated film by relying on the perception of visual concepts can give the deaf the opportunity to draw on visual memory in the animated film. Therefore, in animated films produced as teaching materials for the deaf audience, the visual element should be more emphasized and the sound has to be taken into account for the HI audience.This article examines the impact that the visual style of contemporary animations has on the deaf audience as a means of teaching and conveying the message. This paper is based on the questions that constitute the purpose of this paper.۱. How can animation, including imagery, fantasy, humor and fantasy environment, affect the HI audience?۲. How does the visual style of animation communicates with the deaf audience, convey a message, guide or distract the viewer with its visual or verbal expression?۳. Can animation be used as a tool for teaching and conveying message to deaf audience?
