with leukemia have high levels of mental disorders that range from depression, anxiety, maladaptation and low self-esteem, emotional disorders and fear of relapse and death, to hopelessness. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of self-confidence training on life expectancy of women with leukemia hospitalized. Methods: The present study is a randomized clinical trial. The statistical population included women with leukemia admitted to Khansari Hospital in Arak. Patients were divided into control and intervention groups based on random allocation. First, a life expectancy questionnaire was administered to all patients; Then, for the intervention group, self-confidence training was performed in the form of ۴ sessions of ۹۰ minutes. The data collection tool was Schneider standard life questionnaire. . The obtained data were analyzed by SPSS software version ۲۱. Results: The mean age of the participants was ۳۸.۷۵ years. The results of the analysis showed that the comparison of the mean life expectancy before and after the intervention in the intervention group were significantly different (P-value <۰.۰۵). The amount of life expectancy has increased after the intervention, so it can be said that the intervention has increased life expectancy in the intervention group. Conclusion: According to the research findings, it can be said that self-confidence training and psychological support increases the life expectancy of patients with leukemia and can be used as an effective method
