Introduction: Innovative e-health strategies are emerging to provide appropriate, systematic, and high-quality care for cancer survivors. Migrating to patient-centered care models in which cancer survivors play a more active role in their care process is essential. This idea can be referred to as patient empowerment, which means that the independence of cancer survivors is respected and respected by health professionals, and survivors have the knowledge and psychological, social and behavioral skills needed to positively impact their disease status. Materials and Methods: In this systematic review study, the studies were searched from Google Scholar, Scopus, PubMed, Science Direct databases with the keywords breast cancer, e-health, and breast cancer patients in the period ۲۰۱۸ to ۲۰۲۱ according to the Newcastle Ottawa criteria. Studies with a score of ۶ or more were included in the study and the results were reported qualitatively. Results: In this study, ۱۲ articles that met the inclusion criteria were reviewed. Studies have shown a stronger link between the use of this technology in supporting the survival of cancer patients and improving their quality of life. Conclusion: Research has shown that interventions aimed at improving patient empowerment can have a positive effect on behavior and health outcomes. The use of information and communication technology in healthcare (eHealth) may be helpful in supporting patient empowerment.
