Overview of the environmental elements affecting the psychological security and sense of place in orphanage

Since the family has an important role in nurturing and creating children's personality and homeless children are deprived of the warm embrace of the family, paying attention to effective factors such as psychological security and sense of place can compensate for some of their emotional and psychological deficiencies and making the care environment for orphans a safe and comfortable place to feel comfortable and like their home environment. Therefore, a sense of security and a sense of belonging to a place is essential to maintaining the mental health of orphans and its absence has irreversible effects on the child and society. So, the purpose of this study is to investigate the factors affecting psychological security and sense of belonging in the care center for orphans, so that by explaining the role of environmental elements, a more favorable environment for these children can be explained and created. The method of work in this article is a review and based on the collection of information from library texts and pre-prepared data from valid scientific research databases and related articles and books. In this study, first the theoretical foundations of the care center for orphans and mental security and sense of belonging are examined, the opinions of experts in this field are collected and then the effective environmental factors in order to create psychological security and sense of belonging are explained. Physical factors affecting mental security and sense of place in homeless children have also been studied. The results of this study show that paying attention to environmental factors affecting the care environment of orphaned children can affect psychological security and a sense of belonging to this group.
