چکیده مقاله:

Today, the issue of whistleblowing and supporting whistleblowers is very substantial in different countries; Because promoting this practice is considered as one of the most important ways to prevent corruption. Supporting whistleblowers exists when there is a strong legal system to achieve this goal. Whistleblowing means exposing a person's (Governmental officials, Non-governmental organizations & Politicians) wrongdoing to a complaint recipient (Internal & External). The whistleblower may be an employee or an outsider. A comparison between the legal system of the United States and Iran in supporting whistleblowers shows: United States is known as a leading country in creating a legal regime for whistleblowing, it has well supported whistleblowers by various laws. In Iran the existing laws do not cover all types of whistleblowing. Iran's legal system has an ethical approach, which protects those warn the wrongdoer before reporting corruption to an official.
