Levels of phenoloxidase (Po), trypsin and lysozyme activities were determined following ۴۸ hours exposing freshwater crayfish (Pontastacus leptodactylus) weighing ۵۹.۸±۳.۴g to different low pH values of ۶.۵, ۵.۵, ۴ and ۲.۵ at ۲۰-۲۳˚C. Significant decrease were found (p<۰.۰۱) in levels of Po and trypsin activities in crayfish haemocyte lysate supernatant (HLS) at pHs ۵.۵ and ۴ compared to the control group (pH ۸). Also, plasma lysozyme activity showed a significant increase in water with pHs of ۶.۵, ۵.۵ and ۴ (p<۰.۰۱). Furthermore, measurement of calcium and magnesium concentrations in sera samples showed a significant decrease for calcium ion at pHs ۵.۵ and ۴, while magnesium concentration was significantly decreased only at pH ۴ compared to control group (p<۰.۰۵). Crayfish exposed to pH ۲.۵ died within ۲۴ hours post-exposure.
