Adsorp tion of Eo sin Y usi ng polyaniline-beach sand nanocompos ite: kinet ic and thermo dynamic s tudies

Eosin Y (EY), an a nionic dye is used in the fields of dyeing, printing, leather, printing in k and fluorescent pig ment, etc [۱]. The safe removal of such a dye is the prim e aim of our present research and this is acco mplished by using a novel adsorben t introduced in the current work.Materials and methods:In this study, Beach Sand (BS) was collecte d from the north of Iran (Bandar An zali) in depth of ۰-۲۵ cm from seaside. Polya niline (Pan i) was synth esized che mically, the n coated onto (BS) via cast solutio n method [۲]. The data obtained in batch model and the effect of p H, initial dy e concentration, tempe rature and etc have bee n examined. The data i nvestigated in different conditions was applied to access is otherm, kinetics and the rmodynamic parameters.
