An experimental study on surfa ce propert ies of amino acid so lutions

The surface tension of aqueous solutions of glycine, alanine, valine, isoleucin e, and leuci ne was measured using the capillar y rise method as a function of temp erature and concentration. Glycine behaves lik e simple salts which dissociate into cations and anion s completely. Surface properties li ke surface e ntropy and surface energ y have beeninvestigated.
