Surface Tensi on Predict ion for P ure Compounds by Using of Different Methods

The surface tension is one of the interesting properties of thermody namics, which has man y applications in sep aration proc esses, adso rption, distillation, bi ological membranes an d especially in oil industry. In the current study, the surface tension of a bout ۵۰ pure compoun ds including alcohols, alkans, alkens, organi c acids and cyclic com pounds were calculated by five different methods and th e results were compared with the experimental data.
