The environmental pollution is increasing in recent decades due to rapid industrialization an d populatio n growth throughout the world. Mo st of the areas situated n ear various industries are polluted continuously because of the disposa l of industrial wastes [۱]. Adsorption is a metho d which h as gained considerable attention i n the recent years [۲]. The presen t work is a n attempt to develop the waste p ulp of suga r beet remai ning from extraction of sugar as a n efficient adsorbent f or removal of a Basic vi olet ۱۶ from aqueous solutions.
