Calculation of surface tension, s urface entropy, surfaceenthalpy, and surfac e excess co ncentration of org nic binary mixtures

Among lots of theor etical and ex perimental studying of surface tension of differ ent solutions, a great part is related to surface tension and surface properties of organic binar y mixtures. In this pape r, surface tension, and surface mo le fraction have been calculated using Sprow - Prauznit z equation of state and U NIFAC group contribu tion method. Comparisons of the calculated surface tensions with experimental d ata show s urface tensio n predictions are found to be extremely sensitive to the molar surface areas and difference in pure surf ace tension. In addition to find mo re information about s urface struct ure of binary mixtureswe focused on study of surface tension of mixtures by a generaliz ed Langmuir model, s urface entropy, surface e nthalpy and surface exc ess concentration.
