Theoretical consider of proper ties of oligo (۳-met hyl thioph enes) terminated with for myl

A variety of oligothiophenes derivatives have been s ynthesized and their m olecular an d crystal structures, self-orderin g, electroch emical, photophysical, optical, a nd electrical properties have all been studied. In addition, their potential a pplication to field-effect transisto rs, photovo ltaic devic es, and o rganic ele ctrolumines cent device s has be en investigated [۱]. We have already. studied s ome properties of oligo(۳-alkyl thiophenes) . T he research es have shown that cha racteristics of conjucated polymers improved clearly whe n they term inated with some mole cular specifies .In this work, we h ave added formyl in both sides of chains of oligo (۳-methyl thiophen es) and hav considered structural a nd electronic properties again. We have comp ared these results with pervious results. Some oligoformyl-thiophenes derivativ es synthesized [۲].
