چکیده مقاله:

To accelerate the healing pro cess of wounds, the wounded area needs to b e protected from environmental factors. The g oal of wound dressing is to produce an ideal structure with high porosity but at th e same time be a good barrier. Chitosan is a b iopolymer t hat has been well know n as being a ble to accelerate the healing of woun d in human [۱, ۲]. In the present st udy we successfully p repared and analyzed chitosan/poly ethylene oxide (PEO) nanofiber containing silver sulfadi azine (AgSD ) via electro spinning. Mate rials and m ethods:CS/PE O solutions were prepared by dissolving CS and PEO in ۷ ۰% acetic ac id at ratios of CS to PE O of ۹۰/۱۰, ۸۰/۲۰ and ۷۰/۳۰. AgSD powder was also dissolved in ۷۰% acetic acid. Then the solution was m ixed with t he CS/PEO solutions at ratio of ۱:۲.The electrospinni ng processes were carried out using Electroris ( FNM Ltd., Iran, www.f nm.ir) as an electrospinn er. Then, th e obtained mats were a nalyzed by SEM and T EM to stud y the nanofibers sizes and morphol ogies.
