چکیده مقاله:

Noble metal nano particles ( NPs) such a s copper an d silver NPs have been used in text ile to improve some properties of fabric such as: mecha nical, antifungal, anti microbial, Àame retardant, and wa ter repellenc e properties . Copper NPs were often contamin ated with copper oxide due to high air sensitivity of copp er NPs, unle ss other reagents with functional groups that f orm complexes with co pper ions o r soluble surfactants as capping agents were used. However, the effectiveness of these mate rials in preventing surface oxidation is poorer in case of co pper than si lver. Dival ent copper nature agai nst mono-v alent nature of silver is one reason for such di fferences. U sual materials which employ to sta bilize silver NPs often leave higher scope for oxygen to penetrate the surface of copper NPs.Here we have synthesised c omposite of copper (II) oxide and silver NPs on nylon fabric throug h a simple chemical re duction method to obtain both advantages of two noble metal NPs. Also we applied copper (II) oxide NPs on nylon fabric which no report f ound on utilizing copper (II) oxide NPs on nylon fabric [۱-۳ ].
