چکیده مقاله:

The field of nanotechnology is one of the most popular areas for current researc h and develo pment in b asically all technical disciplines. This would include microelectronics ( which could now be referred to as na noelectronics) as the critical dimen sion scale for modern de vices is now below ۱۰۰ nm. Nanocomposites a re as multi phase materials, where one of the phases has nanoscale ad ditives [۱]. Although the potenti al use of polymer na nocomposites in electrical insulating industry has only recently beg un to be searched, a great number of researches have been conducted with rega rds to high voltage elec trical insulation perfor mance [۲]. T he effects of fillers on the composite properties depend on t heir concentration the pa rticle size and shape of the fillers, and their intercalation with the ma trix [۴]. The Kaolinite,s Clay has ۱:۱ dioctahed ral structure. In these po lymer-clay nano compo sites can be achieved b y the high surface contant area of the reinforcing filler, w hich cause high strength, modulus , and improved thermal and barrier properties at a low clay loading level [۳]. In this study, we synthe sed insulato r jackets nanocomposites with various relative compositions based on PVC and bo th natural and modified kaolinites (ZK۱ and DV ) by solution intercalation method.
